“ As a visitor to Madrid and the Royal Palace. This place was very conveniently located near the Palace and Sol. We were served by Diana who was so incredibly helpful and friendly with her service. Our food which was Paella and Chicken was excellent and quick along with WC availability and distance to other Madrid activities. Some things you may need to know is there tends to be a lot of vendors, musicians, and other individuals who will come by your table and attempt to sell/ask for money. Furthermore the restaurant may bring a basket of bread (we didn’t particularly ask for bread service), if you eat the bread it adds .50 euros per person. These things were not a damper to the experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and especially Diana for their impeccable service and diverse array of options especially during the typical closing hours of other restaurants. ”
“ Unbelievably good and authentic Spanish food, highly recommend ”
“ We stopped here after walking around the Royal Palace and Cathedral and had a great lunch. The staff was super friendly and funny and we loved the gambas! I personally found that even though many places make good gambas not all of them use a good oil/sauce that you can dip your bread into, fortunately this place was not one of them and our bread was gone in no time! So delicious, ah! ”
“ Been here a few times now on our trip to Madrid. Reasonable prices for a central location. Mainly had cold drinks as fairly warm, so no comment on food. Service has been good, and a good location to relax and watch the world go bye ”
“ This is one of a couple of bars where we frequently stop for an afternoon drink. The service is always first rate and the beer, wine, sangria etc is nicely served. ”
